OMG what a beautiful day
Totally failed to get to meeting after forgetting about traffic from the Twin Cities marathon, oh well.
So i bicycled to St Paul under increasingly amazing trees. Got slightly lost. Got slightly un-lost. Smashed bike. Fixed bike. Investigated interestingly arched alcoves under river parkway. Photographed intricate graffiti. Scared the shit out of some kids smoking pot. Discovered possible hidden passage á la Dark Days, marked for further exploration with additional equipment and protective gear. Saw sweet tunnel from bridge on way home. Collapsed on couch. Eat dinner.
Returned via car to river. Navigated increasingly beautiful cliff trails lined with cute couples. Located two drains though not previously sighted one. One accessible only with climbing shoes. Got in fight with tree and rocks. Visibility diminishing. Flashlight found at bottom of cliff (lost by previous ill fated explorer?). Impassable obstacle. Decide to abort mission. Camera bag structural failure. Upward trail and possible better route found. Balmy night. Laughing college students wandering about.
