i just found out one of the main running canidates for Hama's political party was nicknamed Hilter in highschool because he hated jews so much...
not only that, but in one of his "revolutionary demonstrations" he took a man accused of working with the Isreali military, beat him, molested his daughter, and then killed him. While it doesn't say what happened to the daughter, in accordance with arab (not muslim!) culture, she was probably killed by her own family...
