"You better have brought garlic bread." He looks at the pile of clothing and his bags then back to Jack. "What do you mean?"
Yes, he knows theres a lot of clothes. Yes, he will probably cut it back. He has to put his suits in the suit bag, anyway. His jeans and other things go in a regular suitcase. So how bad could it be? Two bags.... for a week.
"At least I'm not packing my steamer. Then we'd have to take a separate flight."
"Oh, I like it when you're bossy!" Jack's here for distraction, Yan. And if that means teasing you and helping you pack, so be it. Jack laughs and pulls out the frumpiest pair of jeans he's ever seen.
They're at least two sizes too big for his office-boy-turned-agent and he frowns at him.
He does chuckle a bit and rolls his eyes. He looks at the jeans with an arched brow. "Well, I had this idea. It isn't as easy to be distracted by tight jeans if they aren't tight."
Actually, he so rarely wears them, those are probably left overs from a time when he was-- no you know what he's not even sure where those jeans came from, that's a bit disconcerting.
He takes the rogue jeans and sets them aside replacing them with a more suitable pair. There Jack you will have the best view in America by the time he's done packing his bag. You.Are.Welcome.
Jack will actually beg to differ. He thinks anyone he's with gets the best view. You don't have his kind of charisma without think you're God's gift. Can you imagine if he got cloned Jack'd never leave himself alone!
"I am never distracted when it really matters. Like now. Watching you fuss with socks? Absolutely something I'd never want to aid in distracting from." Boom! Dose of big blue eyes headed right your way. A little grin too. Someone is itching for a little more than sitting on your bed, Ianto.
We're going to file that under things we don't want to consider. It's bad enough he doesn't believe he's ever gong to be good enough for you Jack lets not compound that by including the realization that yes quite literally the only person you'd ever truly be happy with is yourself.
"Of course you wouldn't." And he puts the socks in the bag doing his level best not to give you the satisfaction of knowing that he was basically hoping you'd show up. "Selecting socks is serious business. It would be absolutely tragic should I arrive in the States and not be able to pull off an ensemble, because I forgot to pack the perfect pair of socks."
He never did buy that Ianto was that foppish. He'd seen him in very, very many ways. But he let him have his love for suits and matching socks. "Oh, absolutely, very serious. Have you selected all of underwear yet or can I pick?"
And there it is, that hint of a grin creeping it's way to his lips. "Actually, you may. Although, I almost have a feeling that mysteriously when we arrive I'll find that they have all vanished."
"That's because you should really think about about your dependance on them. Besides..." Tighty-whities, Ianto? Oh, he thinks they're adorable. He fiddles around in the appropriate drawer, fishing them out. Does it matter than you also have boxers and boxer briefs? Nope. He's not interested in those.
"Of course, It's a terrible habit to confine myself in such a way." Tighty-whities work better with jeans anyway, he would prefer some boxers to go with his suits...
But from the looks of it, that's not going to happen.
And Jack took his took. Oh, he went through everything. Ianto never realy gave him 'leave' to help before and sure, he's not really helping NOW but he is learning quite a lot about the other man.
It amuses him, the little things he finds in his drawers.
He's trying not to be upset by the intrusion into his 'personal space'. It isn't that big a deal. But for the love of everything, STOP digging through his underwear you perv.
Okay, so maybe it's bugging him a little bit, but really? You aren't harming anything.
Once you finish playing in his drawers, he should be all packed.
