(no subject)
Most of my neighbors are pretty far away but they don't let that deter them from reminding me of thier existence. Case in point, across the street (and shielded by a thick wall of trees) neighbor felt that 7 a.m. was plenty late enough to begin running a chainsaw. After all, anyone sleeping any later than that was indulging in decadent lifestyle and should well deserve waking up. :-p
In other news, I am off this whole week! Hurrah! This week will be our staycation in which we are off work but don't have anything more than day trips planned. On the agenda today is staying home mostly, planting flowers and doing some yard work (always plenty of that to go around :p). Later on (after dark) we have some fireworks to celebrate the holiday. Tomorrow we are planning a little trip to a local amusement park (called Lake Winnepasauka) for the day and at some point later in the week we are going to drive up to the Smokies, just for the day. Other than those two destinations, it's all just lovely home time and not going to work.
