earhart/noonan household, week one...
Meet the Settlers
(Little warning, I once again took WAY TOO many pictures! I really hope I don't bore anyone too much.)
This time, we meet the Earhart/Noonan family...
Amelia is a bit of a prankster, but I don't think Fred minds too much!
....
As with all the families, one of them had to get busy preparing the garden...
(I decided Amelia would take on that challenge.)
Fred got the challenge of maxing out his mechanical skill...
(He is only ONE skill point away!)
...
Now of course, Fred didn't spend all his time sitting, reading a book...
He also hunted for treasure.
(There's a rumor floating around that there are untold riches to be found on the island.)
Amelia had to get in on the action, too!
She didn't find much, just a few decorative rocks.
...
Fred knew how to cheer her up, though...
(She was a tad disappointed she didn't find a treasure chest full of gold.)
Nothing like a good 'ole pillow fight to make someone's mood rise!
Follow it up with a good game of 'I can hit you harder'...
And your in for some good dreams!
...
Next morning, Amelia greeted a new visitor to their lot...
If only he had stayed around for a bit longer...but, hopefully he will be back at some point!
Besides, Amelia didn't have much spare time to play with the 'doggie', she had a garden to care for...
That's it, show the weeds who's boss!
Once the work outside was done, Amelia headed back into the house, to take care of her new pet...
Skippy.
Amelia sure does love the little guy!
Well, Amelia was busy with Skippy, Fred caught Jean walking by the house and decided to put the moves on her...
She was definitely receptive, but Fred didn't have a single bolt for her, so it wasn't really going anywhere...
After she left, Amelia and Fred had a little discussion about Jean...
(I dont' think I want to know what she is telling him!)
...
And now folks, this is where ACR took over and things went a little crazy...
This was NEVER, EVER suppose to happen! In my mind, Amelia and Fred were friends and that was all. Apparently, ACR (and the lighting bolts) decided they are to be more then just friends.
Don't know where this shall leave D.B.
...
And, what does a sim do at one in the morning, after they've slept with their best friend...
They tend the garden of course, in their underwear!
...
The next morning, Amelia was out front, playing with her paper airplane...
When Felix walked by and she struck up a conversation...
Okay, so it wasn't a conversation, but a wicked game of 'water balloon fight'...
I guess water balloon fighting is a good way to forget your problems.
Once Felix left, Amelia spent some time outside, exploring nature (and keeping her distance from Fred)...
(Yep, I kept her busy all evening!)
...
After taking care of her plants, D.B. happened to walk by the house...
(Okay, so I guess we are just ignoring the 'Amelia/Fred' incident...I can live with that, for now.)
(I do find them adorable together.)
Once the cuddling was done, Fred pulled D.B. aside...
And apparently they had a friendly chat...
(Complete denial on the island!)
Which led to a game of 'throw the football'...
(Actually, it was more a game of 'drop the football'.)
After the boys were done playing, Amelia said good-bye to D.B...
And, then she went off to play a game of darts...
(When she was done, I quickly sent her off to bed!)
...
The work outside just never ends!
But, 'he who rakes them, gets to play in them'!
While outside, Bessie Hyde walked by and Amelia sat down for a chat with her...
Their chat was quickly interrupted by Fred...
(I think Fred has a little crush on her! Too bad, she's married!)
(I don't think Bessie minds the attention, though.)
...
Later that evening, Amelia went out to the garden to spray her plants again...
And POOF!
FINALLY, a plantsim!
A very happy plantsim!
...
Amelia proving she is the same 'ole Amelia, just green!
With her new found connectedness to nature, she decided to go for a hike...
...and came home with poison ivy!
(Really a plantsim with poison ivy, I would have thought they were immune.)
Definitely not immune!
...
After a good long soak in the tub, Amelia was feeling much better and luckily D.B. came walking by the house! (Amelia was excited to show him the new her!)
(I think D.B. approves!)
(Both adorable in green!)
...
But, just when I thought things were going well (and as I planned)...
(I guess D.B. isn't the only one that likes Amelia's new look!)
I am seriously going to have to separate these two!
