Jane Zhang also known as Zhang Liangying (张靓颖),and is a Chinese pop singer. She rose to prominence after her third-place performance in the 2005 season of the Super Girl contest, a national all-female singing competition. Throughout the competition, she sang in English, Spanish and Cantonese in addition to Mandarin Chinese. Back then, I actually saw her while I was on visit to China, but didn't realize it was her until now.

Her vocal ability ranges from the D below middle C to the G above soprano C - basically, it is amazing. If you ever want to try a Chinese pop singer who can actually sing, she would be it and you would be sorry to miss out.
