MOD: Tags Management (Important!)
Um, hi, this is rikayla, your new temporary moderator for this community. Some of you might have seen me around... To introduce myself, some of my favourite C-Pop artists include Janice, Wang Lee Hom, Jane Zhang and Zhang Li Yin. I'm (usually) very friendly and am very open-minded to community suggestions. :D
Anyways, what I wanted to say that I've started off changing the tags. I removed all the tags that we had previously because frankly, it looked like one big headache. :3 Permissions have been switched, so only maintainers/moderators can create new tags now; however, all members can add tags to their posts.
I've added started off the tag system by going back 40 or so entries and adding tags to them. So here are a sample of what they look like.
We haven't really decided the set tags label style yet, so I'd like your input. I realize that a poll about this has been posted previously, but I'm an indecisive person, lol, and I've slimmed it down to two choices. The two ways are (using Jay Chou and Jane Zhang as example):
VERSION #1 - Pinyin or More "Standard" Form
zhou jielun (jay chou; 周杰倫)
zhang liangying (jane zhang; 张靓颖)
VERSION #2 - Most Popular Name to be Referred by
jay chou (zhou jielun; 周杰倫)
jane zhang (zhang liangying; 张靓颖)
Help me decide? :)

FAQ:
01. Why is some using traditional Chinese and some using simplified Chinese? Because I decided to base the characters on what country/market they're based on. Jay Chou is based in Taiwan; Jane Zhang is based in China. Show Luo is based in Taiwan; Zhang Li Yin in China. alan, on the other hand, is known in China when it comes to C-Pop.
02. I see something wrong in the tags. So-and-so is from China, but you've got traditional characters for their name. My fault. D: I'm no pro when it comes to C-Pop, so I'll be posting a separate post later on tonight or tomorrow so you guys can correct me. :D
03. Your pinyin is wrong! That's not the most used form of pinyin for this artist's name! Also my fault. Feel free to correct me at the upcoming post. The pinyin in the tags will be going by their most popular use... So basically, which ever is used most. I don't know much about pinyin to be honest, so the ones up there in the tags are actually taken right off of Wikipedia's. o___o
For those of you making requests, please start tagging your posts with * requests!
