Polls are closing
So the polls are closing in South Carolina right now. I'm hoping that Kerry (or anyone else for that matter) doesn't do too well because I want the California primary to count.
I'm hoping to host a democratic primary candidate research party but I decided to wait until tomorrow before sending out the evite. If it seems like our votes could make a difference, I plan on asking all the guests to research either a candidate or a platform issue and then bring their notes to our party to help inform or influence others' votes.
Several years ago, rb and some of his roommates in Palo Alto used to organized something like this to talk about all of the CA propositions on the ballots - and I've always thought it was a good idea.
