I'M HOME!!!!!!!!
I believe that most of my journal friends are aware of what I do for a living, but if not. I am a fourteen year Army veteran. I've just returned from my second deployment in Iraq. I am so happy to be back home, you have no idea. This deployment was rough and easy if you can understand. Parts can excruciating, while for me at least, I had a lot of creature comforts due to my location on a large base. But that doesn't ease the pain of when you lose a member of your unit, like we did a little more than a month from going home. I just want to thank each and every one of my LJ friends that I connected with on a personal level. Yeah, we met through smut, but through the small messages we shared, you pulled me through some down times, made me laugh, or just for a little bit made me forget about where I was. I especially want to thank scripps , oddegg , caera1996 , tourdefierce , smutjunkie for just being awesome. They would take time just to chat with me about nonsense when I really need to lose myself when I thought I would go insane.
P.S. I added caera1996, who by the way is a goddess. But LJ left her out.
