Gramma is still with us, but how is hard to believe given how little she has had to eat or drink. As far as I can figure she is simply "running on Irish".
She is awake less than an hour a day now, including bathroom breaks and suddenly she really does look like she is dying as she labors to breathe and her limbs look so sallow and feel so cool. Yet, she still has a full head of silver hair and has never worn glasses as far as I know. She complained that even her teeth are too big now (something that I did not know is that she has worn dentures since she was 30 and only now that she does not feel comfortable with them does she look like an old lady - shows what I know).
So, the watch goes on, though I think we are talking hours not days at this point. She did say she would see me Monday, when I got back from Canada and I at least saw her. My aunts are pretty exhausted right now and I lent them an iPad to play Angry Birds as they do their best to keep up their spirit and give comfort to everyone else.
