Since this weekend was my last real weekend at HC till next year (i'll be home next weekend and the weekend after is in the middle of finals), i decided to go out friday night. i had kinda forgotten how crazy we get in groups, lol. the night started with us listening to the new britney cd about 25 times (i'm not kidding, we even came up with the world's worst dance moves). then we went to the "coconut beach party" in one of the dorms- biniki tops required for the girls, bathing suits for the guys. they put a full kiddie pool in the room, which had as many as 14 people in it at one time. how they filled it i have no idea, but it was a good time.
after that we headed off campus with caitlin's friend patrick, who decided lead us down the hill through the parking garage- where we came to a locked fence. being lazy we decided it was easier to slide through the foot of space than walk back up the hill. strike one for patrick's directions. we got to the party and it was dead so we heading back (a different way). now patrick suggested a path up the hill, which worked till about half way up when emily and i suddenly sank ankle deep in mud. strike 2 for patrick. finally we got to the top (difficult considering emily lost a shoe in the mud and we were all dying with laughter) and we hit a barricade across the path. we all then had to jump over that. strike 3 for patrick. we then decided his room was the one to track mud all over, so we hung out there for a while before coming back here and watching pirates of the carribbean.
it was a hilarious night, i'm glad i did it because it is nice to be able to go home for the summer with some good memories of times out, and i hung out with people i didnt know that well so it was cool to meet some new people. kerry came back much later and woke me up coming in with her friends, they were here till like 6 and i couldnt sleep so i just got up super early and did laundry at dawn. tv at that hour sucks by the way.
anyway i should get back to doing all the work that is shoved into the end of the semester. granted this is partly weak planning on my part, but oh well, it was a fun weekend. i'm super excited for summer, between going to europe and to the john mayer/ maroon 5 concert (so cool). i think we should plan some kind of beach weekend also, like to jones or the hamptons, or even rye beach. ok back to making stuff up for my lit paper- congrats on getting through this big long ramble. when is everyone home for the summer? lemme know, we'll have a fiesta!!!
