Island Successfully Toured

Today I managed to complete my quest to tour the perimiter of the island this year. Today was the West Island's turn; scjody and I left at around 12:30, and arrived back home about 6 hours and 105 km later. How is a tour of the perimeter of the island not a tour of the whole island? Maybe my French is playing tricks on me...

The key here is "in a day". This year he did the island in pieces, having done the entire perimeter over a bunch of days.

My only advice is to take the Notre Dame bike path first, then come back on Gouin. The bike path on the northeast part of Gouin is actually quite nice (unlike the bulk of the northwest part). Or find some other route instead of Notre Dame; the bike path there makes me feel very stabby.

Thanks for the info :)

What I really need is a map like yours.. I have a street map of the city that unfortunately does not have bike paths indicated, and also a map specifically of the bike paths and lanes, but it was printed in 1993 and is therefore, um, a little out of date.

I'll probably stop by Maison des Cyclistes at some point and see what's currently available...
