Things going on.
It's been nearly a month since my last update...
I'm still working on this contract I mentioned at the start of the month. There's plenty I could say about it; most of it I've said privately. It's good and honorable work, though, and I intend to finish it and then move on to something else.
There's been some consideration of relocation, to somewhere else. There's talk of where to go, and none of the answers at present seem tenable; so here we stay, at least for the moment.
Steam's marketing team did their jobs excellently, and it wasn't until the end of the month that I realized I have purchased, in the course of the last few weeks, thirteen new games, and eleven of them were on the PC. Not a one of them cost more than $9, but even so, they all added up quite noticeably. With two exceptions, I don't think I've made any truly poor decisions in my acquisitions.
I've been flitting around projects recently, and not producing much of grand use -- I've got some basics strung together for a Stars Without Number campaign to run after Deathwatch winds down. I haven't actually produced much work for the submission I was trying to pursue. I haven't done anything with the dragons. (Repeat after me: cpip is not a writer in any sort of solid, genuine sense of the word.)
