Insomnia having afflicted me, I spent the last forty-five minutes or so reading over old LJ entries from 2006 -- when I left newspapers, and when I came to paint; when I had just finished a move; when I had launched one game and watched the winding-down of another (though it didn't 'officially' end until 2007).
Time passes. Things shift. What troubled me then isn't all what troubles me now, though there are strong similarities.
Still alive, though.
