Lately I have been thinking about my life and how i have been living it. Today, in history class, Mr. Folsom was saying, when we graduate from High School, about half of the people that we are used to seeing everyday at school, we might never see again after graduation day. I understand exactly what you are saying - I've been there and I still feel that way sometimes. Fortunately, where there is a will, there is generally a way -- it's a cliche but it's true. You have a lot in you that I can tell you want to share. And by realizing how much you have and realizing that you want to do something with it, you have taken the first step to making a change in for yourself and for others too :-) We are all growing older every minute, which means every minute counts. It's hard to remember that all the time. But still, each minute is another opportunity to do something great - whether that be making your family smile, doing something positive for yourself, or saying hi to a stranger that needs a hello. Every minute you can be doing something to feel useful. It's up to you whether or not you want your life to be more exciting. Only you can make the change, and I'm absolutely positive you can do it. You are a wonderful person, and with a little faith and motivation I know you will go far. As you grow older, too, you will learn more and more - which you have obviously done already. Life is an opportunity. Every second is an opportunity. We just have to take them and utilize them positively, for us and others. I know you're scared, but if you dwell on that then you might not focus as much on the exciting part... the fact that you are indeed living. Like I said, you are a wonderful person. You can make a huge difference. You have so much potential, and it shows. Remember to smile, too, as often as you can. Life will take you farther than you may think.

Lots of love!
Kayla
