Cross Country Road Trip
Well, I just got back to Wichita Falls, unfortunately. Over the past two weeks I've been on a rockin road trip with my best friend. Here's a recap of the past couple of weeks.....
I left WF and drove to Ohio, where I met up with Josiah and hung out around New Lebanon for a couple of days. Then we drove up to Michigan to stay in Kalamazoo. This was my first time to visit MI, so I was excited. From what I saw the state is beautiful and one that I cannot wait to visit again. Well, the first night in MI, Siah and I each got a piercing. He got a labret and I got my cartiledge pierced. It was fun. Then to ease our pain (lol...not really) we went to a bar to hang out and visit a friend.
The next day we visited St. Joseph, which is right on Lake Michigan. This was a really neat town and it was awesome getting to see my second great lake!!! (Two down, three to go!) Anyway, Justing (Josiah's bro), Siah and I walked along the beach and took pictures of the lighthouses and lake. It was a lot of fun. That night we enjoyed a rather festive party, involving a lot of drinking. But it's cool, we had so much fun. (With pictures to prove it..lol).
Siah and I decided to go back to Ohio late Sunday night, so we drove into the wee hours of the morning and slept in a bit. Later that day we did a little shopping and I got my first tattoo. It was awesome!! The last few days were spent mostly hanging out with the best guy I know. We had such a good time, and I can't wait for the next trip we take together....most likely in December.
To conclude, the trip was a blast. I got to see lots of things I hadn't before and I got away from TX for a bit. Well, that's about it. I have some pictures from the trip that I'm going to post soon, so check back later.
