My Car Blows
Yeah. Why me?
Here's a run-down of what's happened with my car so far:
I need a new car. And a new life to go with it.
Anybody out there have a spare (*cough* new *cough*) vehicle they'd like to give to me without expecting anything in return? :)

Here's a run-down of what's happened with my car so far:
- I was coming home from work one day... this was early this year. My transmission had been acting up. Like... if I would step on the gas pedal, the engine would wind up and then the transmission would go into gear and there'd be a big "slam". Well, this one day, it slammed hard. And then I had no more transmission.
- I got my transmission replaced at [company name withheld] in [location withheld].
- Overdrive light started blinking after I got it replaced. Electrical problems? *shrug* I brought it back. [owner name withheld] said they didn't see anything wrong with it.
- Overdrive light continued to blink after an unspecified amount of driving. This would happen when on the highway. I brought it back again. More testing. No results.
- I started to get little boosts of speed out of nowhere. Hmm. Transmission? Electrical problem? Who knows? Overdrive light still blinks. Brought it back. They kept it for an entire weekend and didn't do a gawddamned thing to it. Annoyed.
- Brought it back yet again. They claim to have replaced it. Okay. I drive it. Overdrive light still comes on. Grr.
- I'm on my way to WAAF's Locobazooka at Fitchburg Municipal Airport. Overdrive light comes on. Front end starts to shake. I start to hit heavy (crawling) traffic. Great. I start to get more boosts of speed with my front end shaking. Wonderful. I get into an accident. The bozo in front of me hits someone else because he ended up leaving like two inches between him and the person in front of him. I'm still dealing with the aftereffects because of this. When it happened, I was trying to enter the breakdown lane but couldn't due to the inconsiderate assholes who were driving in the breakdown lane to get past the traffic. I wish I had a bullet for every shithead who drove in the breakdown lane. Fuck you.
- Got the car fixed. Supposedly they fixed the transmission again. Front end still shakes like a muthafucka. Overdrive light came on once. I'll be lucky if the car makes it throught the end of the year now. Sometimes, when I'm starting it up and shifting it into reverse or something, it just doesn't move. :-/ And when I'm on the highway or accelerating or something, the transmission shifts up and down like crazy. It definitely shouldn't be doing this. And all of my lights dim. And my brake lights (yellow ABS, red brake) are always on now. But my brakes seem okay. And if I want to listen to AM radio, sometimes there's a loud, high-pitched screech noise. It seems to be related to whenever I press the brake or accellerate. Electrical problem? All of this? Grr.
