Our Constitutional Freedoms Are In JeopardyNow is the time to restore real checks and balances to the worst sections of the Patriot Act. But our chance may be lost forever when Congress votes on whether to make it permanent ( Read more... )

If the system is broken Parker, then sometimes you have to be part of it to fix it...that was my whole fucking point! Now, as for Bush being in office, i'm not a big fan of it either, however, whining about it instead of doing something about it is stupid...and what is the first sin in satanism...i don't think i need to remind you. The fact of the matter is this, the difference between on president over the other is which PAC or Lobby is more powerful at that time. Check your history on that, the other fact is that this war that we are in, its not just us that pulls us into shit, its those that we have treaties with. Hence why my man is overseas, its because of certain treaties that we hold.

To answer your question, all i have heard is whining, but if you want to take that route, then what makes you think that not becoming part of the system to fix the system will solve anything? I have heard excuses but no real reasons, no evidence, nothing. So come on parker, lets debate politics, but i still maintain one thing, if you don't like it, leave the country. Goes along the lines of there's the fucking door.

Is it really possible to get Bush out of office now that he's stolen it for a second time? I don't think so.

Also, telling people to leave if they don't like it is a lame fucking rebuttal. What have you been through to make you so arrogant? And what makes you think that you can dictate what people can do with their lives? What makes you think you know everything, and that everyone else's viewpoints are wrong?

I was born in this country. I was raised in this country. I pay taxes in this country. I have every right to be in this country, and if I dare make a statement about how unhappy I am with this country's current state of affairs, I have the freedom of speech to do so. So, if YOU don't like it, YOU can leave. Or you can stop reading my journal. It's as simple as that.

And no, your man is overseas because he joined a band of murderers, and a bunch of snot-nosed people called "politicians" decided to deploy his pawn ass to keep people under control.

Two people can play the wise-ass game.

Well, lets see, in a couple of years, will it make a difference, no, why, because he can't be in office more than 10 years. He can't have another term, so in a couple of years, this is going to make no difference.

Secondly, read all that i wrote, not just your favorite parts parker, its called comprehension, i know that you are capable of it. What i said was in response to some of the other people here saying that they want to leave...well then leave already.

Yes, you have the freedom of speech and so do i. But freedom isn't free dear boy, and if you think that it is, then you are naive.

As for my man, well, i would rather him be someone's pawn with a backbone then a spineless weasel that takes no pride in himself or his country that he claims to be so concerned about. And if it were nothing but a band of murderers, then i would have joined up considering i believe that 90% of the worlds population is wasting my oxygen and needs to get off my planet. Why don't you sometime go to a soldier and tell him that he joined a band of murderers, and when you get out of the hospital, i will ask you about their reaction.

You want to be pissed off at the war, fine, be pissed off, but don't blame the soldier who is just following orders.
