My grandmother's ceremony is over, we've gone over all the legal matters, and I'm done here in New York. It wasn't all bad, and I even had some fun up here, but it was all overshadowed by the fact my grandmother had just died... though I'm glad I had one last chance to see her before she went. In fact, the last thing she would remember is me telling her I loved her.
But I'm glad this is all done and I can put it behind me.
I'm not done traveling, though; tomorrow, I leave for Wisconsin, just like I had planned before any of this happened, to see Amanda. And Acen is still a go. So that's good.
