Yay, questions!
The nicest thing about Canada is how welcoming it is. You know they how they say Canadians are all polite and nice and all...well, in general they are :) - so, immigrants and multiculturalism (and pssst, healthcare ;))
Alas, these days I don't really have much time for fannish stuff, woe is me...From recent anime, I can't even remember one I liked (maybe House of Five Leaves?...) - though I'm still steadily watching Bleach (313 episodes and still going strong). Oh, and there was one Legend of Legendary Heroes which was ultimately disappointing but kept me entertained as I was crushing on one of the characters ;). Shows...I don't really watch TV. I didn't even finish Galactica (which reminds me). Ooh, there was a Korean drama that kept me highly entertained for a couple of months back...Yup, that would be all :)
Gah, no, not FF13, not at all...and no, that was a typo, since I was playing 13 at the time (Balthier is from 12 actually). In truth, I dislike 13 the most (I'll spare you the rant - granted it's pretty, but story and several main characters are really off-putting). I've played all FF's starting with 7 (excluding 11 which is online). I'm not a gamer at all, I just keep up with this one franchise (but 13 is making me seriously doubt I'll stick with it, grrr).

Oooh, some of those anime sound interesting! The only one I know for sure is Bleach, although admittedly I haven't seen much of it beyond a few seasons. I'm still amazed it's ongoing though, because back in the day it always seemed like anime rarely continued beyond a certain point. Yay for success!! When I watched it originally, my favorite was Renji. But, you know, I'm predictable like that. ^^;
Speaking of Galactica, I stopped watching it too.. there was a subplot that really, really, really bothered me, and I got pretty angry about it, so I stopped watching. It's on my puter, though... eventually, I'll probably gather my wits and go back at it! Until then, I have old Farscape eps and new eps of Supernatural. Yay!
Hee, 13 that bad then? Ouchies!! I keep thinking I'll check out the other games as well (especially if I get a better computer). A lot of them seem so pretty!! Right now, the only 'verse I'm familiar with is 7, but that's because I'm so horribly slow when it comes to gaming.
All that said, there's one game I want to play really, really bad. PORTAL 2, OMG. \o/
