So, the conversation this morning (after watching the daily back-to-back eps of Supernatural on TNT) went like this:
Gram: [pointing at Sam] I'd date him. He looks like fun!
Me: [laughing/disturbed] I dunno, Sam gets into a whole lot of trouble in the latter seasons...
Gram: Oh I haven't seen those. But he looks like fun, I'd want to be with him. Dean seems a little--
Me: [indignant] Dean isn't bad! He's just... he gets the shit-end of the stick, what with his brother. But he's not bad.
Gram: He'd make a good husband. [translation: boring]
Me: Dean settles down at the start of season 6. He makes a great husband. But Sam...
Gram: I have bad taste in men, I know.
Me: Have you ever seen the eps beyond season 3? Forget the brothers. It's all about Castiel.
Gram: Oh I think I remember him...
Me: He's awesome.
Gram: I'd still date Sam.
