big update
so last week was actually not as hard as i had anticipated...
1. last week was little 500 weekend...meaning that we had our big grand prix race around campus (nascar fans be jealous)...so everyday had a cool function and stuff like that (monday was housing selection day [im staying in the same room with my current roommate until i can get an RA position], tuesday was battle of the bands [decent], wednesday was ms. puma [very entertaining], thursday was mr. puma [entertaining again], and friday was a house band [very low key])....saturday itself was wild....we had a track meet which was wicked cold...35 degrees in april!!! come on now!..then after the track meet, the fun began...saturday night was just one big party...it was a great time....sunday i just hung around and just chilled out
2. im kinda sick about this whole reggie miller thing...yes, reggie is a great basketball player...but its not like he was god's gift to basketball..i mean, the media never gave joe dumars this much adulation when he was beginning to retire...i mean, everybody retires...even michael jordans retirement was a little overdone..i would understand it if he got the all-time points record...but miller has only gotten to the nba finals once...great peolpe like patrick ewing never got this much praise, as long as i can remember
3. cassie moya..whats up with you...long time no talk to! when does gvsu get out?
4. jim naeger...when is the "big day?" after you graduate?
5. everybody download "these days" by rascal flatts...good stuff
6. yes, the white sox are doing well, but lets remember what happened to the kansas city royals two years ago...they started out 16-4 and ended up only four games over five hundred...so its very early in the season
