Arts and Sleepies
I've been having a hell of a time falling asleep lately. It always happens in the summer... The fan goes on (we have one of those big industrial ones) and then, poof, I can't hear anything else but the fan. I hate it. I'm a very in-tune person, I have my ears open even after falling to sleep. If there's the slightest crack of unrelative sound, I hear it.
The worst part is, generally the little sounds I do hear when the fan is off, scare me. So when the fan goes on I'm lying awake wondering what scary little sounds I'm missing out on. If it's a "crack" sound, I generally freak and think either the basement is on fire, or someone is outside trying to break in. "Grinding" sounds make me think an alien is outside in a ship trying to abduct me, and "blowing windy sounds" make me scared there's a tornado. Lightning scares the shit out of me.. I don't even want to go there. But yes..... not being able to hear anything lately is driving me a little mad. But I can't turn the fan off because air conditioning is too shpensive for 80 degree whether.
Where are the balls in turning the AC on when it's that cool?
At any rate. Yeah.
Got my cintiq, it's awesome. So far I've drawn a pose with it, and the new upload on DA and FA with it. whoah fun, way cool..... really not excited to show the mothers coming over this weekend how exactly it works. They always get so googly-eyed at the shinies. It drives me crazy. Then again, I'm a selfish bastard. So maybe it's expected? Who knows.
I've decided to start spamming my LJ with sketches and shit again, and shit that I don't post anywhere else. So here, have a dump:
