Liberals predict a major fight if Bush nominates someone in the mold of Thomas and Scalia, or anyone viewed as too conservative.
See, this is the problem. Scalia is a wonderful Justice with an impeccable understanding of Constitutional law. Thomas leans a little too far to the left, but he's an incredibly intelligent moderate. Yet, the lefties amongst the ASSociated Press brand him "too conservative." When a black moderate Justice is "too conservative," you know damned well it's time to take this country back. To take it back to it's founding, Libertarian principles. By force, if necessary.
