updates and such
so where do i start? can i start? I'll just jump right in and leave stuff out..
last week was eventfull, our manager has been doing an awesome job of harrassing record labels, and trying to get in good with the occaisional scene-tied celebs he happens by.
Though at one point last week I had to kick his ass, literally. He thought it was funny to trade hits like kids in school, but didn't warn me first. So he hits me in the chest, and I hit him in the arm.. game over, I think..
about 45 minutes later, he slams his fist down on my thigh, catching me completely off guard. bad idea.. someone should've warned him, but it was too late. I flew off the couch and just went wailing on him, the side of his head swole up like a grapefruit, and Brian came running out of his lesson and told him to go outside and sit in the corner. That was the funniest part. I later apologized for beating him senseless, and he apologized for acting like a child. we're all good now..
a little like buisiness now..
ThickSkind is in need of broadening our "street team".
These would be people who dig the music, and have friends with similar tastes and/or can spread the word. Perks may include exclusive access to unreleased recordings, discounts on merch and cd's (for resale), as well as free entrance to Thickskind shows(depending on your involvement in the "team").
And of course, most importantly, the knowledge that you helped us out on our way.

Especially if you're not in the Dallas area. We are completely mobile and able to book shows in any city in the continental US.
