Eddy is still being mean. It's still -20 [at the warmest] with wind and snow and no sun. I went out yesterday.. we did grocery shopping and then I went to whyte in the afternoon and tried to start christmas shopping. I was going to go back today, ... I really ended up only shopping for myself yesterday... and actually buy things for other people ( Read more... )

wow, its freezing there! its been actually really warm here (im in upstate new york) its like 50 degrees...which scares me since it means that winter is going to be so harsh

the age thing is so weird (im 22). i guess the thing is that the whole concept of age is so different now than it used to be...every one past the age of 21 is acting 'younger' and i guess thats fine by me. in five years i still want to be able to go out and drink and dance like crazy haha...xoxo*

it'll probably be warm there all winter, just to spite me. heh heh.

i really feel like i'm the same person as I was 5 years ago. except maybe a bit slower. and less interested in drinking more than 2 nights in a row.

you are growing up, even if it doesn't seem like it. it's not weird to still enjoying going out drinking, dancing, the works, and it won't be, ever, unless you decide that it is. You're definitely not the same person, and definitely not doing the same things that you were when you were 16 or 19. think of all the things you've done, and the things you do on a daily basis and how different your life is now than it has ever been. Have you ever lived through -20 weather in november before? no, but you are now because you've made adult decisions and done adult things that have lead you to where you are now. I have friends in their thirties who still go out and get fucked up and dance on weekends, but they're still growing up and doing grown up things. don't worry about it. embrace the time you have now to do things like that before you have even more responsibilities that make it so you can't. can you tell i've been thinking about this stuff in a way too ( ... )

you're right. and really, i'm not overly stressed about it. i guess i just don't want to be a cougar. lol.
