academy award shorts

last night w/ some friends.. (jamie, dny, cheryl n rob..)
It was AWESOME! You guys gotta go see it!
There are 8 short films, none of 'em longer than 15 minutes (great for you short attention span folks).
It's super hard to name a favorite but..

so tonight i seem to be perusing through a crate n barrel magazine in my hungry stupor..
i have never seen a magazine so full of pretty stuff that i don't want to buy.. i think crate n barrel stores and magazines must be the consumerist equivalent to getting busted smoking for the first time and then being forced to smoke the whole pack.
there's too much damn stuff and it strikes me as overpriced shoddy and unnecessary when presented in such quantity..
(my thought as i'm sitting in front of a good sized collection of c&b glassware.. ok i like the glassware they have it's really pretty cool..)
