Wesker's been put through the door again. Try not to shoot him.

Chris, I believe you had a question for me? And Leon, you wouldn't mind taking Handsome for the day? Mello, how are the 5 a.m. runs? Matt isn't wrapped around your ankles the entire way, is he?

scars add character, underhanded dealings, redfields mean migraines, master of unlocking, i wear my sunglasses at night, mr. kennedy, goggles don't match the coat

What the hell is Wesker's deal? He's all over the place lately with his personality.

And I got a little bit of an explanation on this "door" thing, but not a really great one. So this Wesker roaming around now is the other Wesker?

The virus isn't He's been here for over a year. He claims he's three or for years ahead of me in our world, meaning a year or two ahead of you. Add to that the fact that he's died here. Before I came, he had been systematically killed until he lost all of his memories. Shortly after I came he had them returned to him all at once.

Add to that, this place wears on a person. Any person. For some of these people Chip and Dale, Mickey Mouse, even dinosaurs are real. Whatever this place is, it doesn't obey any sort of logic.

And no one knows how stable the T-virus is in the long term, anyway.

That said, you know better than anyone how well he can fake things. He likes to try to trick people, that certainly hasn't changed. He'll change his approach if he sees any benefit in it.

As for the door, think of it as a gateway. If you use a person's key, it opens in on a time or a world where that person is radically different. The last Chris that was here went through. He came out a cocky, swaggering grunt who was in Wesker's pocket for a while

In his pocket? That's real cute. Remind me to stay away from that thing.

So, what you're saying Wesker is Wesker's even more off his rocker than he used to be. And still capable of pulling his old tricks on the side.

I wasn't insinuating anything. You followed his orders. At the time, I was in the same position.

Wesker is Wesker. He's got an Ace up his sleeve in almost every situation. And whether or not this place is affecting him negatively, it is making him more dangerous.

All right, I got it. I'll keep an eye out.

But, this door Wesker; he's okay? Or is there something I should know about him, too? Cancer-treating doctor or not, I find it hard to believe there's nothing related to old Wesker in this other version.

The Wesker that was here the last time was close to you, he'd apparently taken the S.T.A.R.S. aside before the mansion incident and explained what Umbrella was up to, and together he and they prevented what happened in Raccoon. The entire incident only had a few casualties.

He was anti-Umbrella, and worked with Bio-Terrorism prevention and relief organization. There were certainly elements of the Wesker we know, in his personality, his outlook, but his cause didn't sacrifice lives for his own personal gain.

Funny how one decision can make a whole world of difference.

One decision, yes, but we don't know the extent of the circumstances that lead up to that decision. It's possible he lead an entirely different life before falling in with Umbrella. That could have been what drove him out.
