spring break, finally!!!

hello everyone, i'm back from arlington and i now realize how much i want out of the valley. i mean the valley's not the worst place in the world, but i would actually like to live in a place where there are things to do. plus, dallas has a galleria so that doesn't hurt. but all in all i had a very relaxing and fun trip. we left on wednesday around 9 am and literally spent the entire day traveling up there. we stopped at cracker barrel on the way to get some lunch, which i really missed (i forgot how much i freaking love macaroni and cheese). we didn't get to arlington until 7:30 pm and immediately checked in to the amazing ranger inn suites (which by the way there is nothing amazing or sweet about). from the girl's room you could hear a couple yelling at eachother super loud, which i just found freaking hilarious, and next to mr. olivarez's room was a big ol' orgy of heroin and cocaine. great things to expose children to. the entire way up to arlington my and my parly team were really hyper and it showed. that wednesday night we went grocery shopping at a kroger and were all loud and laughing. you could tell it was getting on people's nerves, especially the people that worked at kroger. but then again like i care. on thursday my team and i had to take our written test and compete in front of the judges. the meeting went well until gravity took over and dropped somebody's index card, causing a horrible chain reaction of events. needless to say we didn't make it, but bpa can suck my zoo anyway (it's all about hosa). later that thursday night mr. olivarez took us to a mini outdoor shopping center in dallas. i did a little browsing at urban outfitters and picked up a cd and shirt at virgin records. friday was the really fun though. that morning we had to take another written test, which took like 20 minutes, then we all headed off to the galleria. we spent 4 hours at the glorious place and practically all our money (i definitely took advantage of hollister and aeropostale). then that night we went to six flags, where more hilarity ensued. only 6 rides were open that night, because the park hadn't officially opened but it was still alot of fun. one of the best things was when jennifer rubinstein and i made up entire background stories to random people that i saw roaming around. i shall never forget grant, clark, matthew, or thomas the homicidal photographer. on saturday we were slated to leave back home at 10 am, but that didn't happen on account of all the guys waking up at 9:56 am. so that afternoon mr. olivarez drove us around the richest part of dallas. you know it's the rich section of the city when you see people playing lacrosse. for lunch we stopped at some burger joint. i found it funny to see all the rich people stopping at a place and bringing their designer clothes just to get burgers. from there on we just headed on home to the good ol' valley. oh how i missed it so. well that's it for me. i hope you all enjoy your spring breaks. as for me, i look forward to a week of chicken broth and cottonmouth. later!!!!
