Looks like Winter! Back from Hibernation

I recently quit WoW and several other online activities. I basically cut myself off from people I knew online. It had to be done :P

Time to start fresh! I'm no longer a gamer. Hmmm, I may be a gamer again when PSU comes out on PC, but I am unsure how serious I'll take the game or how good the game is.

So, what I need now is a hobby. Any ideas? Anybody?

I've got four ideas. One idea is to get more of a social life and hang out with acquaintances more. But, I don't much care for that idea. So, I guess it's really three ideas:

1) Write
2) Pick up Photography
3) Pick up an Instrument

I need something to catalyze my movement away from being lazy. I want to be productive. I don't want to go off to -real- college without any passtime or, more importantly, an objective.

I spoke with Swanson the other day over lunch. He asked if I was going to be an Engineer (a common question). I replied that it was not for me, and that I would rather major in English. Then, he asked what kind of writing I would like to do. "Well, I'd love to write screenplays, but I can't limit myself to that. I've got a few novel ideas. Maybe I'd write for comedians or write lyrics." And, I guess with his help I realized that none of those careers out of college. Freelance writing and self-employment... I'd need a day-job. So, Adam suggested journalism, as it is a classic writer's day-job. Unfortunately, I hate journalism :/

Am I supposed to be an Engineer and write on the side? Am I supposed to give 100% effort to my dream of writing out scripts and novels? And, what about Lindsey? I plan to always have her by my side, and she plans to find a career of her own.

Obviously, I am getting ahead of myself.

But, back to my first point: I need a hobby.
