Penn will pay tuition for poorer families "The University of Pennsylvania said Thursday that it will pay tuition and room-and-board for students whose families earn less than $50,000 a year."
If I were still in Philadelphia, I would drop everything else and re-enroll for classes. I'm over 24, so my parents' income no longer applies. (Not that much of it ever went to actually paying Penn when I was in school... but that's another tale.) The grant applies to current (as well as incoming) students, and I'm still technically a student at Penn. (For now.)
I wonder... how long before people get upset that they raised tuition to support these grants? Never mind that tuition rates have always supported financial aid.
