It's my birthday today!

I'm not particularly enthusiastic about it. I forgot how old I was turning, actually (28). Feel free to put your own joke about how I'm actually 16 years old here.
Mostly I'm so busy with work that I forget to pay attention to much else. It's been about 10 months in this position and I'm nowhere near where I wanted this group to be, which worries me. Then I have to read "news" stories about how, apparently, I have failed:
"The problem is insufficient testing and just plain sloppy repository management."
Yeah, it's totally my fault when some greasy blowhard not only is surprised by problems in the pre-alpha, for-developers-only release, but is so clueless that he actually deletes a whole bunch of system libraries on purpose in a ham-fisted attempt to "fix" it. That is clearly my fault. It happened because we didn't test enough. It's not like anyone is spending half their waking life testing this stuff or anything. My bad.
Ahem. Anyway, that stuff really isn't that important. You know why? Because it's my birthday, and my life is completely rad. Thank you all, gentle readers, for your parts in making it that way.
