ok, really
So this whole living without the internet thing is really starting to get to me. I have all this extra time on my hands that I would normally waste playing games online, looking up useless information, reading movie news and watching trailers... :)
Unfortunately, our house has decided to wage a mini-battle with us. Our roof is leaking in several places (not really a problem if it's not raining, but come on, this is WA). Our dryer just went out, our stupid antennea is still being, well, stupid. And our truck has decided to break down as well. We feel like we're basically burning money right now. All in all, we're actually doing pretty well considering we're young and actually in a house. It just seems like we have zero money and it's one thing after another right now. But still, we've been able to make some improvements that aren't required- like we're putting in a fence with our neighbor. And we're hoping to be able to get a dog in the spring. And we've been able to get a new front door (both a neccesity and a want). And our yard is looking pretty nice now, just from brute force on our part. Ok, so we are pretty lucky still. I'm grateful once more.
Kevin and I are spending some time at Dad's this week. So far, so good. Relaxing. Quiet. Good times being spent with the little sis and older bro. We plan on having a Happy New Year, despite the fact that mom is still not around. No idea what's going on in that hit drama show....
