Latest house update: The underwriter had our loan docs on Monday and went over them-- as of yesterday afternoon, we didn't need to provide any other information. BUT, the underwriter needs some sort of revision from the appraiser; and seeing as how it took the appraiser over a week last time to get affairs in order, we're not confident that we'll be closing today. Ridiculous!! We're all set to sign papers, but have to wait for other people to take care of business first!! I hate this waiting around. In the mean time, I'm contracted to be back at school tomorrow, so today really is my last day to sit around and wait for the phone to ring. The whole reason we wanted to close now was so that we didn't run into interfering work schedules. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!! We're never buying another house again!!!!!! This has been one of the most frustrating moments of my life. I wouldn't be nearly as frustrated if we didn't have to move out of our apartment by Monday. So, as things stand right now, we'll be moving this weekend into Kevin's mom and dad's garage. Yippee. I'm trying to stay as optimistic as possible, but it's extremely difficult!
