Cold Stone
Kevin and I took my 1 free ice cream coupon to cold stone tonight to get some ice cream. It was not very satisfying. In fact, I think I would've enjoyed a $1.99 lucerne cookies and cream from Safeway much more. Even though we sat outside in the fading sunlight, laughing at the weirdos that drove by in the parking lot, the ice cream didn't quite hit the spot. Afterwards we drove through random neighborhoods on the way home, imagining where we might live (and where we would avoid like the plague). It's fun to dream.
I played a mock game of "keep away" with three of my students today at recess. The sunshine was too inviting for me to stay indoors and grade papers. It was fun.
I sat down at the computer for a specific reason tonite. I was going to look something up and I got distracted by searching for credits to earn to bump myself up the pay scale. Now I can't remember even a shred of why I was here in the first place. Strange.
Shanan sent me a kick ass b-day card today that plays the Harry Potter theme music when you open it. I opened and closed it many times. Again. And again. And again. I think I will go open it now. Again.
