Down Time
When things slow down, they slow down. I slept in today. Fact, I slept most of the day. I feel a sore throat coming on. So I curled up with a blanket and slept on the couch most of the day. I also feel my social battery recharging. I really think it's the icky rainy weather that is cold and damp that is making me sick. You can tell its season change here. The pasture is flooded. I'm surprised I don't see the cows doing the back stroke.
I know I have been ubber busy but I wonder if I have offended someone. Maybe I'm just panicking but I feel this nagging feeling like I have deeply offended someone and they just don't want to tell me. *sigh*
The fireman's raffle was a blast and I had fun I didn't win anything but I had a great meal. Lynette was great company and my family adores her. The card program was great and everyone that was there loved it! I figured out how to improve things as well, but all in all it was a success. Debbie and I had a lot of fun and I would so love to work with her professionally. I hope everything goes through for the nature center. I would love to be working with Debbie there. It'd be awesome. Oh well, a gal can dream. In the meantime the hunt is still on and the volunteer work continues.
