Thoroughly Modern Millie
I can't believe its over, I am so into that show. Hahah, it went amazingly and everyone did their best.
Yesterday was strike so it really felt like it was over. I'm going to miss everyone so much, even though I'll be seeing most of them in school, it'll be different. Everyone got so close doing this show, and I don't want that to change, at all.
I'm finally feeling like I'm going back to school soon, with the end of the play I have to get my act into gear, with doing all my summer work. Thankfully all I have to do is read books this year, no papers or anything, at least until school starts. Who knows. I can't wait for school, and again I am dreading it.
I still have no idea what I'm going to do, I have so many mixed feelings I can barely take it. Who knows, who knows. Right now I just have to think about getting through the week, let alone the school year. Hahaha.
Today was alright, it started out really rainy so Jill and I thought we weren't going to get busy. We were sadly mistaken. I have four rides, and Phantom wasn't himself on any of them. I don't know what the dentist did to him yesterday, but he was so sluggish, and just.. not him self, at all. When I asked him to canter off so I could go chase Lil' Bit, he barely moved into a trot, which kind of scared me, Hes always so anxious to run. And, what weirded me out even more was, We only cantered a couple times on the trail, and I came back with him blowing and sweaty, The day before, when we ran all the way home, he got back to the barn barely blowing, and not a drop of sweat on him, even under the pads.
By the end of the day however, he seemed his neurotic self again.
Heh, I've been riding him in Juli's english saddle lately, he looks so good in it, I can't wait to work with him even more, so that maybe we can show soon. He's such a good little jumper. Hahaha, I some lady on the trail asked if he was a "Warm blood or a thoroughbred" and when I responded "None, hes Quarter" she looked at me and then him in disbelief, and was like "Really? He looks so lean, not stocky like the quarters I grew up around. Thats why I thought he was a warm blood"
Thats when I looked at Phantom and said, "Nah, he's not nice enough to be a warm blood" poor Phantom, I love him anyway.
Party at Kristins tomorrow! It makes me feel like Millie isn't over yet! haha
