I have a burden

Most of my friends are single and searching for Mr./Miss Right.....I have some tips.....they're from the expert! The first few are popular, the last one is never spoken of in church or anywhere else and since most "Christians" don't read their Bible to see what God has to say on the matter, I want to enlighten you!

1. Matthew 19:4 And He answered and said, "Have you not read that He who created {them} from the beginning MADE THEM MALE AND FEMALE, 5 and said, 'FOR THIS REASON A MAN SHALL LEAVE HIS FATHER AND MOTHER AND BE JOINED TO HIS WIFE, AND THE TWO SHALL BECOME ONE FLESH'? 6 "So they are no longer two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate."

2.Matthew 19:12 For there are eunuchs who were born that way from their mother's womb; and there are eunuchs who were made eunuchs by men; and there are {also} eunuchs who made themselves eunuchs for the sake of the kingdom of heaven. He who is able to accept {this,} let him accept {it.}"

3. Corinthians 7:1-9
1 Now concerning the things about which you wrote, it is good for a man not to touch a woman. 2 But because of immoralities, each man is to have his own wife, and each woman is to have her own husband. 3 The husband must fulfill his duty to his wife, and likewise also the wife to her husband. 4 The wife does not have authority over her own body, but the husband {does;} and likewise also the husband does not have authority over his own body, but the wife {does.} 5 Stop depriving one another, except by agreement for a time, so that you may devote yourselves to prayer, and come together again so that Satan will not tempt you because of your lack of self-control. 6 But this I say by way of concession, not of command. 7 Yet I wish that all men were even as I myself am. However, each man has his own gift from God, one in this manner, and another in that. 8 But I say to the unmarried and to widows that it is good for them if they remain even as I. 9 But if they do not have self-control, let them marry; for it is better to marry than to burn {with passion.}

but there's a prelude to ..1. here it is....
Some Pharisees came to Jesus,testing Him and asking, "Is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife for any reason at all?" 4And He answered and said, "Have you not read that He who created them from the beginning MADE THEM MALE AND FEMALE "

AND.....there's a conclusion that's usually omitted as well....ready?....

"7They said to Him, "Why then did Moses command to GIVE HER A CERTIFICATE OF DIVORCE AND SEND her AWAY ?" 8He said to them, "Because of your hardness of heart Moses permitted you to divorce your wives; but from the beginning it has not been this way. 9"And I say to you, whoever divorces his wife, except for immorality, and marries another woman commits adultery."

Do you want the completion of ..2?

10 The disciples said to Him, "If the relationship of the man with his wife is like this, it is better not to marry." 11 But He said to them, "Not all men can accept this statement, but only those to whom it has been given.

How about ..3.? it's an interesting point.....if you've not recieved enough to absorb for the night, read on....

10 But to the married I give instructions, not I, but the Lord, that the wife should not leave her husband 11 (but if she does leave, she must remain unmarried, or else be reconciled to her husband), and that the husband should not divorce his wife.

12 But to the rest I say, not the Lord, that if any brother has a wife who is an unbeliever, and she consents to live with him, he must not divorce her. 13 And a woman who has an unbelieving husband, and he consents to live with her, she must not send her husband away. 14 For the unbelieving husband is sanctified through his wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified through her believing husband; for otherwise your children are unclean, but now they are holy. 15 Yet if the unbelieving one leaves, let him leave; the brother or the sister is not under bondage in such cases, but God has called us to peace. 16 For how do you know, O wife, whether you will save your husband? Or how do you know, O husband, whether you will save your wife?

it's serious....and for those that are discontent with singleness still, be encouraged by this passage....it makes me excited everytime I read it!!!!

Revelation 14
1Then I looked, and behold, a Lamb standing on Mount Zion, and with Him one hundred and forty-four thousand, having His Father's name written on their foreheads. 2And I heard a voice from heaven, like the voice of many waters, and like the voice of loud thunder. And I heard the sound of harpists playing their harps. 3They sang as it were a new song before the throne, before the four living creatures, and the elders; and no one could learn that song except the hundred and forty-four thousand who were redeemed from the earth. 4THESE ARE THE ONES WHO WERE NOT DEFILED WITH WOMEN, FOR THEY ARE VIRGINS. These are the ones who follow the Lamb wherever He goes. These were redeemedfrom among men, being firstfruits to God and to the Lamb. 5And in their mouth was found no deceit,for they are without fault before the throne of God.

Can I say to all my single friends, MARRIAGE IS FOR LIFE.....choose carefully and keep JESUS as the first love of your life....don't set yourself up for adultry, nor divorce. IT'S SERIOUS!!!! it's NOT something to make you happy! although done the right way will bring unimagined joy, if you force it or rush it or give up your standards for weariness of waiting, it will only bring disaster. TRUST GOD....he made you, he loves you, and he hasn't forgotten that you're still alone!!!!
