Sunny Days!

I got my jacket today! I like it a lot and I think it is going to rain tomorrow so I might get to wear it! YAY!! But after tomorrow I hope it stops raining!!! I like the warm weather!

So I was looking for a particular shirt yesterday and I decided to clean my whole closet in hopes of finding it. While I was cleaning my closet and going through my clothes I felt like I needed tank tops, so I went online and bought three tank tops and then I felt like I needed a shirt, so I bought a shirt as well. Yeah..... The funny thing is that earlier that day I decided against getting iced tea because I wanted to save money. umm yeah.... :)

I LOVE MY JOB!! I got to sex pupae yesterday! It was soo cool! they have irridescent tails! So awesome. I went in today and I was by myself and I had to collect the pupae from nine trays!! That's a lot of pupae and they move, so I had to chase them with the pipette and try to suck them up. It was kind of nice though too because I was just listening to my iPod and sucking up pupae. haha. But yeah I was there for 2 and half hours!! haha. It's neat though becuase you put the pupae in a cup and then you put the cup in a cage and then tomorrow there will be mosquitoes in the cage!! Soo awesome! I kind of wish I could stay and watch them transform, but alas, I cannot. Maybe later on I will get to see the transformation. I am really enjoying learning about the mosquitoes life cycles. It's soo cool to watch them grow... BUT they are still sooo annoying when they get out of their cages and are trying to bite me.

Soo umm yeah I have two midterms on tuesday next week! AGH!! I don't know how that is going to go...... I feel like the quarter just started. I am soo not ready for a test.

as of now I have been up for 14 hours.... AGH!! I hate having early morning classes!!

Female Pupae - hehe I can tell!!! comment if you want to know how!

this is what the cages look like

Adult Mosquitoes ... i can't tell the male from the female, i haven't learned that yet :(

This is gross, but they really do look like this after blood feeding!
