So today was my little visit to "the caprock" or capstone, whatever you call it.

First thing I did after we registered for Scholars Day at Alabama was write "War Eagle" on my nametag. I told mother dearest if I was gonna have to wear anything crimson, it was gonna have my own touch on it. So to say the least I started off the day with a very closed mind. I even had to hold myself back from yelling War Eagle profusely. Anyways, we had to split up from our parents at lunch to go to the different departments we were interested in. The Civil/Environmental Engineering program looked really promising. In fact I was just about ready to say roll...w/e when I met back up w/ my mom and she was acting like she totally didnt want me to go to Alabama anymore. She didnt like how arrogant the people were in the parent sessions and how they refered to Auburn as "THAT school down the road"..... That, I remind you, is ranked ahead of Alabama in every category nationally except for the school of business. And lets be honest, that's another major for general flunkies anyways... just like English or any of that Liberal Arts bull shit. I once had an engineer tell me that he has a word for all those liberal arts people:

Unemployed.

And to take a stab at 'that smart school' over the mountain, I found it funny that I heard some Bama fans from IB school talkin about how they didnt have enough scholarship money to pay for UA... and a lowly Minor alumn who is now 99.999% sure he will end up at Auburn has everything payed for by them crimson asswhipes.

Oh, and did I mention that the campus is just waaaaaaay too spread out and I really dont feel like walking from Riverside to all of my classes?

But I was so disappointed... I carried 11 Wal Mart sacks down there to give to Brodie... and I didnt see him. Oh well, hopefully John Croyle will come to speak at our school this semester after all and I'll be able to give em to him.

War Fuckin Eagle
