I have become a compulsive myspace checker....and not how you would think. Everyone should have heard about the Taylor Behl murder. She was the 17 year old at VCU who was murdered...and she had a myspace. I check it every day to see what people write...although it makes me cry EVERY time I read it...I continue to do it. It puts life in perspective for me...everyone needs to be careful. I know many people who sleep with their dorm rooms unlocked at night....PLEASE STOP DOING THAT! It doesn't make sense for you to risk your life...and although you don't think anything of it because we're in college and it's safe....it's NOT. We have already had a girl raped by 3 guys at our school....and for you to think you are still safe at all times is either ignorant, naiive, or just stupid. Please open your eyes.....take the extra ABSOLUTELY IMPERATIVE steps in order to keep yourself, as well as your friends safe! LOCK YOUR DOORS...even when your in your room sleeping at night...it only takes one time...and our lives are way too precious to put at risk.
