[And Irvine's tipping his hat back with the tip of his index finger, looking up to Emil before waving a bit.] Yeah?

I, um, I was wondering... what is that thing? I've never seen anything like it before.

[Picking up his gun, he points to it.] This? It's a gun.

What does it do?

[Peering at it now.]

It fires bullets at things you aim it at. [And now, Irvine's getting up a bit so he can stand.]

You mean it's a weapon? It doesn't really look like one...

Yeah, it's a weapon alright. It tends to hurt a lot if you get hit with it.

So how does it work?

[cowboykinneas]

Well, you take aim with the barrel of it pointing at your target, pull the trigger, and bang!

That's all you have to do? That sounds pretty easy.

[cowboykinneas]

Well, it tends to have a strong recoil, and then aiming is a bit difficult if you're new to it. And you have to reload more bullets when you run out.

Oh, so it's kind of like a bow and arrow.
