Blab: Chuck Season 1 HQ Screencaps, Do you want it?
I believe most people are here for Whoniverse caps and cracks but does anyone want Non-Whoniverse caps? I planned to make Chuck Season 1 screencaps and I wonder if anyone here would bother getting them or if there's already HQ screencaps available out there so I don't have to bother.
Screencaps will be made from Blu-ray source, they will be at 1920x1080 resolution and each cap will be around 300-600KB. Each set would be for entire episode and I would zip them and upload to megaupload (since even with my free account, stuff seem to stay on there forever even if no one download for a long time). It would be made automatically and I would only roughly skim to get rid of obvious junks which means there would still be some blurry shots or unusable shots getting in.
I had Pilot done (the capping part), what I did was setting it to cap every 1 second. That resulted in 2336 caps. After converting to jpg at 93% with ACDSee it all came down to 981MB @_@. I would have just uploaded them and see for myself if people are downloading, but uploading 981MB to no one would not be fun at all.
My plan was to split them up into 200 caps per 1 zip file. It would be about 80-100MB per zip file. Each zip would be either odd or even number. For example, zip 1 would be for cap numbers 001,003,005,007,...,399 and zip 2 would be for cap numbers 002,004,006,...,400 and so on. This way if you want fully complete ep you could download all, if you want complete ep but more lightly, then you could either grab all odd or all even set.
Or I would bump up the capping interval to 2 seconds which would result in around 1200 caps and you would have options to either get 1200caps@600MB or 600caps@300MB.
If you want them please let me know and if you have other ideas about how do you want them made/posted, feel free to share your ideas.
