computers are my drug, OR why harry potter six needs to come out
I feel addicted to IMing all of you and livejournaling lately. not exactly, but to some effect. crazy as this sounds, I've come to the conclusion I need to start watching TV again. While getting on here and talking to you guys is fun, some of the time it can cause me to go into major nighttime duldrums, as if it getting dark almost the second I get in the house isn't enough. TV doesn't make me have to think. That and I need to start playing something, bass (note: electric/rock, not double bass) or cello, and reading more. Zak and I discussed tonight about a "bello" essentially it'd be cello pitched with a bass body. I want you some guys to come visit me, though my house isn't any fun. It ****ing (censored for no reason at all.) sucks... Everyone is busy all the time. Speaking of busy I STILL have to review the teacher evaluation. I feel like I'm the only one doing that. Barb said the high school reps had to do that too, but it doesn't sound like it. Jen? Sometimes I don't know what I'm doing on the board except fulfilling my need to go to EVERY GOD DAMN MEETING... I don't know why I like meetings so much. I do care about my responsibilies on the board, don't get me wrong, but the general vibe from the MS people when I give my lengthy Board meeting reports is "uh, that's great ... are you done yet?!" Maybe part of it is that people don't know what the board really is. They always say "Ask your local student rep" and I'm not even sure I could provide a real good explanation. "It's this thing I have to meet with once a month, and it's boring, hence "The Board."" Me and Zak or somebody were discussing that an decided it should be renamed "The Executive Excitement of Upat-whats" to drive up morale. People just don't seem to care. That's not true, though. I was just kind of upset with the turn out of All Community Meeting last year. It was a little more than half the size of an all school meeting. But what can you do when people can't come? It's weird... I want to be busy but not busy in those ways. The Board gives out WAY too much paper. But coming back to the topic of being busy with leisurely things, do you guys have any ideas to keep me occupied? much appreciated, or just comments in general, which I havn't been getting a tremendous amounth of lately. With that I'm gonna watch ER. *wink*
