southernstud, thanx for commenting but i wasnt finished yet lol....so in tha financial aid meeting, they were like "the percentage of ppl who come to us straight out of HS is low, most ppl have a job already and pursue this as sumthin on tha side; also most kids wont get hired as qwick as older ppl that have more college experience".....so my mom told my granny this and my granny was like "danielle, u should go to a full college first cuz i dont want u to work at timmy chan when u get outta chef skool" and im like what would i go for if i dont wanna do nuthin else but cook? plus, AIH is ACF accredited and if i graduate from there, i dont have to apply for ACF membership...sure, I'll have to work a few years as a sous chef but everyone does....i mean, im not finna get loans out tha ass to go to UofH for 4 years and then turn around and get more loans to go to AIH...that just dont make sense....and with my moms income and me bein tha only child, they not gonn give me alot of money....so im stuck bcuz i really wanna go to this skool but everyone around me is sayin no....but its my life....i need to check tha one in Dallas too.....
