He reminds Jack of the doctor who destroyed his life, which is why he holds such hatred for him-- though really, he would despise him for his crimes even without that mental association. Sirius Black (atrumcanis ): BFFS FOR LIFE. Jack adores Sirius, in the same way he adores David. What’s not to like? He’s magic! He has a flying motorcycle! He laughs a lot, doesn’t press serious issues, enjoys destroying fancy parties, has awesome slang and is British. It’s wonderful. Sirius is, without a doubt, the person whom Jack trusts above all others, even the Edelweiss crew. Despite the jokes, if Sirius tells him something-- say, something about magic-- Jack will believe it without question. A lot of their relationship is based upon not asking certain questions, or, better, forgetting about certain events-- events like nightmares, or David dying, or That Time With The Mistletoe (which was terribly awkward, but not relationship-breaking).

Magneto (makes_asteroids ): In Edelweiss, Jack found a father figure in a man named Reeve. He was pretty much everything Jack could want in a father figure (caring, strong, smart, a wry sense of humor and a good dispenser of advice), and he's one of the people Jack misses the most, even now. It's little surprise, therefore, that when Jack spoke to Micheal-- a man who had a good sense of humor, a man who took the time to explain Jack's powers to him in a way he could understand while still being scientific and not condescending, a man who built robots and seemed fine with Jack tagging along to watch-- that he began to transfer his feelings for Reeve to Micheal. So while the two haven't had much interaction yet, Jack's already quite fond of him, and feels a sense of urgency in getting to know him. It's-- actually quite sad, really, but inevitable. Aside from the forced connection, however, Micheal is friendly, and Jack does like him-- he invited him over for Hannakah dinner, though because of David's death, Jack didn't attend.

Jack doesn't really know Naruto that well, but he definitely wants to; the guy seems pretty awesome, and Jack's constantly on the lookout for boys his own age who generally act like idiots. He likes the loyalty Naruto's shown thus far as well; he seems to really care for his friends.
Sasuke Uchiha (revengeisbitter ): The most recent transfer from Edelweiss. Jack isn't quite sure what to think of Sasuke yet; he knows him on a (for lack of a better word) clinical level, having served as his doctor for the past two months, but is only just starting to get to know him as a person. Was a comfort when David disappeared. Jack can get easily annoyed by him, but he's also attempting to make some allowances for the fact that he's had much more time to recover from Edelweiss, while Sasuke is fresh from it. He wants to protect him, the same as he wants to protect all the Edelweiss kids.
Newsies
David Jacobs (taughthonesty ): Jack's best friend, selling partner, and sometimes roommate; there is no one Jack would have rather had come to Siren's Port from home. He was found murdered by the Newcomer Killer about a month after he arrived. Jack doesn't think about that, or him, if he can help it, because it hurts too much and he feels a sick combination of self-loathing and loneliness.
