So, something like 12 hours, 17 outside sources, and 27 pages later, Jordi and I finished our research paper.
It felt rather like giving birth, only this baby is worth 40% of our grade in English 221. We stared at the hard copy, all clean, white, and stapled- still warm from the printer- and marveled at the fact that the two of us produced approximately 7,000 words in less than twenty four hours.
Now the trick is to resist the urge to believe that everything is done, because I still have a French final Tuesday morning (AHH), a poetry final Tuesday night (meh, whatev), and a photo critique Wednesday afternoon (AHH), so I can't slack off now.
But seriously, holy shit. I just co-wrote a 27 page research project report.
I just did, in full, for the first time, what I am hopefully going to be doing for the rest of my life, and it feels much less daunting now, because honestly, I feel I could've written SO much more.
