What a complicated charade... If I'm to play the part of schoolteacher as well as family man, so be it. I confess, the education system in Mayfield is... impressive. It's a great deal larger and more organized than any school I've ever attended.
There are worse subjects for which I could be the instructor than English, anyway. Most of the children I've met here need a competent lesson in grammar and diction. To say nothing of the adults.
