She brought soup.]

[He looks through the keyhole at her and wants to tell her not to have bothered. He is, however, hungry, so the door cautiously opens.]

[And Velvet awkwardly enters the house, leaning heavily on the crutch she received at the hospital.]

[Is shrugging body language for "Don't worry about it?" IT BETTER BE]

[A frown. It isn't.] ...I see.

[She attempts to remove the container of soup from the bag she is carrying, while still balancing in her crutch.]

[He snatches the bag and sets it on the nearest flat surface, motioning for her to sit down before she falls.]

[She gives him a small, but grateful, smile and sits down.]

I brought you some soup. You should be able to eat it.

[cowardly_prince]

[He nods as much as he can without shaking around too much.]

I'm afraid to may have cooled off a bit on my way here, however.

[He gives up on the charades and finds something on which to write:]

Not so little as to starve.
