hello lj readers.
long time no talk. happy mothers day to all the moms out there.
heres the scoop on me.
im no longer going to be a nursing student. i am changing my major to possibly a bachelors in communication with a minor in philosophy or a bachelors in pyschology with a minor in philosophy. im up in the air.
i have an interview thursday for a job as a vet assistant. fingers crossed. i really want this job!!! add that to larosas and it will be a good summer to get some money for next summer when im excursioning to boulder colorado to live. freaking awesome. im so very excited about this you have no idea.
and im meeting up with an advisor on wednesday to discuss my options. so life is good in that respect.
nursing is tough and i give kudos and a steak dinner to those that are nurses or are fully ready to become one!
umm.... lets see. the most amazing time friday night. at uc apparantly they have Nerf Wars and yeah. i had a freaking great time with b-rad and alex and all the other random kids i met. woot for team naked. (and no i was not the naked} and im going to try to go every friday. it was so much fun. high quality. and no drinking.
believe it or not, im trying to cut back on my drinking and its turninng out to be not that hard. so thats pretty darn sweet. this weekend though, i prolly wont do so well with b-rad turning 21 but thats just fine. it should be a good time :)
im hanging out/talking with someone and well... thats always good. hes a good guy. lots of fun and who knows what will happen. i dont want to rush into anything and i still want to try to stay single til august if not the rest of the year. so we shall see.
putting off studying. its hard to keep studying when you know that nursing is not your thing anymore. but ill keep going. week freaking 8 will begin tomorrow!! only two more weeks then exams. then im out! im sooooooo ready for summer. working. playing. hanging out. dog sitting. vacations. my bro coming home. my birthday. other kids turning 21. and just loving life. im definitely going to clean my room and downsize again though. gotta get ready for next summer. freaking awesome.
alrighty kids. hope life is treating you all well. im pretty content with mine. and if you aren't or if you are stressing out. try to cut out that stress. i cut out nursing. i mean why should i have tons of stress when there are so many other things out there that interest me?? go out and be young. you aren't married and you prolly dont have kids. so go. switch your major. take that backpacking trip. do something bogus. live. thats all i have to say. live the life you want.
and ps. go outside. its gorgeous!
